Police seeking suspect in car break-ins at Weber County gym

(KUTV) — Officials are searching for a suspect seen on surveillance video rummaging through cars and allegedly stealing items outside a gym in Weber County.

Deputies shared that the break-ins happened on Jan. 25 while the victims were inside a local gym.

The suspect was believed to have arrived in a newer model Jeep Cherokee. Surveillance footage shows him entering and rifling through several vehicles, where officials said he stole personal items and cash.

He was described as a Black male, approximately 6′ tall, wearing all black clothing including a black beanie and gloves.

Officials said they are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying him.

“Your cooperation is crucial in solving this case,” they stated.
