Greg Davis and Alex Horne kicked off the 16th season of Taskmaster in September, welcoming a new group to compete in a series of hilarious tasks.

However, just a few episodes into its new season, the critically acclaimed and BAFTA-winning series is being pushed out of its prime time slot.

Next month, on Thursday 2nd November, Taskmaster will air at the later time of 10pm on Channel 4.

The shock move comes as part of a schedule shake-up at Channel 4 which will see Don’t Look Down for SU2C move from its usual Tuesday slot to fill the prime time space.

The fourth episode of the Paddy McGuinness-led series will mark the changeover.

Channel 4 will continue to air tonight’s episode of Taskmaster, along with next Thursday’s instalment, in its regular 9pm slot, before the switch up in November.

Meanwhile, the third episode of Don’t Look Down will still air next Tuesday evening.

So far on the new season of Taskmaster, viewers have seen Greg and Alex test the skills of comedians and TV personalities Julian Clary, Lucy Beaumont, Sam Campbell, Sue Perkins and Susan Wokoma.

But as the Taskmasters put them through their paces, who will have what it takes to be crowned the winner?

With 15 seasons already under its belt, Taskmaster has welcomed plenty of popular celebs to the show.

Over the years, the likes of Sally Phillips, Richard Osman, Shirley Ballas, Noel Fielding, Katherine Ryan, and Rylan Clark have competed on the game show.
