When are the Bank Holidays in 2024 and 2025 – dates released by government

Today is the last Bank Holiday of 2023 apart from the festive season. Many people’s work rotas are done a long time in advance so it can pay off to get in early to make sure you don’t miss out.

Not only that, but it’s a good way of saving holiday days if you book a week off which includes a Bank Holiday. It is also important to know the dates especially for those in receipt of benefits as it will impact on when the money arrives in bank accounts.

They are a great time to spend some quality time with family and also plan outings. However, 2024 will not have quite so many Bank Holidays as 2023 as there was unusually an extra one as the nation came together to mark the coronation of King Charles III.
