Xcel Energy Narrows 2023 Outlook, Sets 2024 Target

Xcel Energy has narrowed its 2023 earnings outlook slightly and set guidance for bottom line growth in 2024.

The Minneapolis-based power company said it is now expecting earnings of $3.32 to $3.37 a share for the year, narrowed from previous guidance for $3.30 to $3.40 a share.

For 2024, Xcel is projecting earnings of $3.50 to $3.60 a share. Analysts polled by FactSet have been forecasting $3.58 a share.

The revision comes after Xcel logged a slightly higher profit in the third quarter.
