School board yet to approve calendar for 2024-25

The start of the 2024-25 school year is less than a year away, but the Roane County Board of Education has yet to approve that year’s school calendar. That could change next week.

The school board is scheduled to meet in regular session on Oct. 19. Director of Schools Russell Jenkins said the school calendar will be on the agenda.
