Xcel Energy officials shut off a gas line near 9th Avenue and Pace Street on Tuesday, according to a Facebook post from Longmont Public Safety.

Residents worried about any remaining “rotten egg” smell of natural gas in the area should call Xcel Energy. The utility’s number is: 1-800-895-2999.
